Mr. Dasher is a veteran of the United States Army and embarked on his Information Technology journey as a Federal Contractor with the Securities and Exchange Commission before transitioning to NAVSEA. Leveraging his military background and federal contracting experience, Mr. Dasher has honed his expertise in enhancing Information Technology processes in acquisition,
cyber-security, and service delivery, driving significant improvements in overall efficiency. In addition to his federal roles, Mr. Dasher founded an Information Technology Company specializing in wireless device deployment and management for the Federal sector.
Joining the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Headquarters in 2007 as an Activity Customer Technician Representative.
Mr. Dasher effectively managed product and service ordering and delivery for the Navy
Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) across various Program Executive Offices and Directorates.
During this tenure, he cultivated the leadership and deepened his understanding
of the Navy’s Information Technology doctrine and methodology

Ascending to the role Deputy Command Information Officer for IT Operations in 2011, Mr. Dasher led a dynamic team of network engineers, administrators, IT specialists, and technicians supporting Headquarters and Enterprise operations. Notably, he orchestrated the relocation of NAVSEA Headquarters post-Navy Yard shooting incident, earning the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award and Government Computer News’ Innovation in IT Award.
Mr. Dasher’s commitment to continued professional growth led him to undertake a one-year detail with PMW-205, where he immersed himself in the IT acquisition community.
Hailing from Jesup, Georgia, Mr. Dasher holds a Master’s in Cyber Security from the National Defense University and certifications in Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation (IITIL) and DAWIA Level II certification in Information Technology.
